Kimberly S. Moreland, founder of Moreland Resource Consulting, LLC, is a distinguished leader in historic preservation with over 35 years of experience. Her work prominently focuses on documenting African American heritage, spearheading oral history projects, and advocating for cultural preservation through strategic funding and community collaboration.

  • Reparation Research Project: Co-developed a historical documentary on the displacement effects post-Vanport Flood.

  • Historic Nominations: Collaborated on National Register nominations with ARG and the City of Portland.

  • A Path Forward Report: Produced a report to support equity in transportation planning.
